Who is Skinny's Webworks?
Established in 2005, Skinny's Webworks is a professional business services company offering internet, marketing, media, social, graphics and advertising services. From website design to television commercials and e-commerce, our experienced group of creative and fun-loving individuals excel in helping you take a business idea...and make it a profitable reality.
What about That Name?
Yeah...about that! Skinny's Webworks originated from relationships and partnerships formed from our experience developing SkinYourSkunk.com Guitar Skins. A very cool website that is still part of our company. In addition to being a programmer and website designer since 1989, Mark Witten (our founder) decided to offer our combined experience to other businesses...but only under certain terms.
First and foremost...this business had to be something we enjoy doing that would offer an outlet for our creativity. One of the most popular aspects of SkinYourSkunk.com is our mascot, Skinny The Skunk. A stinky little guy that enjoys having fun and that everyone seems to love. We decided to keep him as our mascot to remind us why we are doing this in the first place.
Second...we had to include something in the name that referenced the technical aspects of what we do. After selecting "skunkworks" and finding out the name is owned by Lockheed Martin (big technical contracting company), we finally settled upon "webworks" and as they say...the rest is history.
Who are We?
We are an efficient team of professionals whose skills and experience span all the requirements of our offered services. We have the very technical, the extremely creative and the high level management that keeps all our personalities in line and focused. At least most of the time!
But in all seriousness, we are just nice people who enjoy what we do. We understand the importance of your business and even the fears that are often associated in turning over a part of your business to another company. We have been there! It seems that everywhere you turn you find "professionals" offering website, advertising and technical marketing services. Some are individuals working from home who may or may not be there tomorrow, and others are giant companies to whom you become just a number in their system.
We are and will always be...unique. We enjoy creating, growing and making things awesome.
